Before founding Vili and Ve Solutions, Shana accumulated more than ten years of experience working in the nonprofit sector, for a wide variety of organizations.
Her consulting experience has included projects for: a family foundation focused on Jewish life and wisdom, a public-private partnership focused on economic development, an organization fighting for gender justice in the media, several different professional groups within Yale University that focus on promoting diversity on staff and faculty, a national network of land management practitioners, an affiliate of a national organization providing psychosocial support for cancer patients and their families, a family foundation rethinking their grant process, a major international arts festival, an art gallery in Arizona that operates as both a source of income and job training program for a transitional women’s shelter; a fortune 400 company seeking to improve their diversity program; an international economic development organization that specializes in agribusiness; a public school system; a center for community activities focused on women and children…and more.
Shana holds two degrees from Yale University: a BA in theater studies with a concentration in playwriting and an MBA from the School of Management, where she currently facilitates a “lab” in Interpersonal and Group Dynamics.
The Vili and Ve approach blends rigorous analysis and a full toolbox of business skills with a deep appreciation for the nuances of culture and mission that are so critical to maintaining the soul of each nonprofit organization.
Grown almost exclusively through referrals from satisfied customers, the top priorities for all Vili and Ve consulting and leadership engagements are always: measurable impact and customer satisfaction.
